With Sincere Thanks
Dee, No words can express my gratitude to you and your staff for your commitment to the care of mom and our family in this difficult time. The flowers were beautiful and your help will never be forgotten. Mom has adjusted well and I am trying to do the same, although I have moments when I want to bring her home, she seems to have a sense of independence that I think is important. Know that I appreciate all that you have done. Be well, Theresa Bean

Hi Dee. I have been meaning to get in touch to let you know how much I appreciate your team. Hazel has been such a gift to my mother and scheduling the in-home hair cut was truly above and beyond. I am so grateful for the quality of life you have given my mother. Her recovery so far has been remarkable. Thank you, Susanna Mitchell

As a former federal employee, I have worked with Capitol Hill and the White House. I have also received letters of accolades from several U.S. presidents. My Dad lost both legs and he has high blood pressure and heart problems, I work 8-10hrs days aND trying to care for him after work was hard on me. Before he came back home I was told about Care Givers, they came in and became part of the family and not just the staff but the owner would call me and go check on my Dad. They came in took cared for him above and beyond anything I could hope for, they can be trusted with your love one. -Jonathan H.

CaringGivers was a lifesaver
CaringGivers provided exceptional service for my stepdad diagnosed with stage IV small cell lung cancer. He looked forward to Doreen's visit and she brought a smile to his face. Most importantly Doreen demonstrated compassion, patience, and love when she fed him, helped him with his bath and getting dressed. Additionally, she was a lifesaver in helping me juggle my work life and care for my stepdad. I highly recommend CaringGivers and would definitely use them again, they were a blessing to me and my family. -Sol M.
Caring for a Friend
Engaging the services of Caring Givers was one the best things I have ever done! I live in Miami and needed home care for a friend in Washington, DC. Demetrius and his staff not only provided the usual home care services but they were there for me during week-end emergencies. No one could have provided better care or service with the professionalism, courteous, promptness and a true sense of wanting to help. They acted on my behalf as I would have done. If ever you need this type of care, please contact Caring Givers as they are just that – caring givers! I highly recommend them for everything they do! Writing this is only a small token of my appreciation. -PM

Mom is happy
I just read the reviews below and I couldn’t say it better. My mom at 89 does not want help. She wants service and Dee, Deanna and their caregivers put the S in service. The personal attention is unprecedented! Mom is more like family than as a client. She is happy and we are happy. We were referred to Dee and Deanna by a friend and its the best referral we’ve ever had. They have changed the quality of our lives. Being a home caregiver is challenging, confining,,,a 24/7 job that is often thankless. CaringGivers has enabled us to have the time we need to take care of OUR lives. The best part is that Mom is happy! They make her feel special and she basks in the attention.

Dad’s Comfort and Extra Days
My father was diagnosed with Alzhiemer’s and dementia in 2010. Five years prior, a quadruple by-pass surgery left him very weak. Dee was our family’s angel! He helped us set up dad’s room at home. Brought dad to medical appointments, made meals, offered dad company and and kept us all informed of dad’s condition all along the way. As nurses came and went, Dee would wait with Dad and at times held his hand for comfort. Although dad lost his battle with Alzhiemer’s two years ago, to this day, our family attributes dad’s comfort and extra days to Dee’s amazing talents and support! Thanks, Dee! You were amazing!

Support and Advocate
I remember the first time I met Demetrius at the Isaiah House. He entered his dad’s room with a big smile and a ” hi, daddy.” The room lit up at that moment and so did his fathers face. Over the months that turned into years it was apparent that this labor of love between a father and a son would eventually transcend from Dee’s personal life to his professional life. Since his fathers passing Dee has been a support and advocate to many elderly adults expecting the same quality care he insisted upon for his own father never forgetting what it means to the families who love them.
