CaringGivers understands the lack of transportation often increases isolation of seniors from their communities. There is an increasing “silent” need for transportation in order for seniors to obtain access to healthcare services, places of worship, and social activities.
A number of factors can lead to the need of transportation services such as the inability to no longer drive safely, requiring an escort to doctor’s appointments, or simply not having a car. We also understand that caregivers have a demanding role in caring for their loved ones that can conflict with their schedules, which may require external resources.
To ensure continued community engagement for seniors, CaringGivers provides dedicated transportation services for the following activities:
- Doctor’s office visit
- Places of Worship
- Grocery Shopping
- Social activities
